“I work in various medium and am currently concentrating on stone-carving.  I'm intrigued by the lustrous domestic alabaster's and the effects obtained from local soapstone.  The beauty of the polished stone itself becomes an integral part of the sculpture's design  and is a facet of interaction for the viewer.  My themes revolve around human and animal figures, incorporating negative ad well as positive shapes into a total organic form, drawing the eye around itself and interest the viewer from all angles."
