PATRICIA PIORKOWSKI HOBBS

“After a long hiatus from painting, I return to a field that I studied as a studio art major in college and from an art historical perspective in graduate school. From graduate school, I moved into the museum profession where, for 28 years, I have worked as a curator in historic houses and history museums. In the ensuing years, I stored up ideas and influences, until they burst forth two years ago, when I could no longer ignore them or substitute the artistic process with other creative activities."
