We are celebrating out 3^rd year of business and invite you to come by and view the artworks of our 15 artists (13 are local artist!) – for returning visitors you will find new artworks by our old artists, new artists works and the gallery space completely rearranged. Each month we feature the works of one of our artists and they attend the reception held on the 4^th Friday.

April – November we participant in Staunton ’s 4^th Friday Art Walk - live music is preformed on our front porch and we serve light refreshment and beverages. (May 23, June 27, July 25, Aug. 22, Sept. 26, Oct. 24, and Nov. 28.)

November - Holiday Studio Sale – Upstairs / Post Thanksgiving – 4^th Friday Art Walk, Nov, 28.

December - Holiday Savings along with Merry Christmas Greetings

May - Lottie, our gallery cat, turns one these years – she greets visitors affectionately – ask about the cat house story and where she got her name!

4^th Friday Music on the front porch by Bonnie Johns, relatively new to the area Bonnie writes, sings and plays keyboard and guitar.

June - 3rd year celebration – new artists, new works and new look – 4^th Friday Art Walk with live music on the front porch and refreshments 5 – 8 pm

July - Artist of the month, Peg Sheridan, watercolorist will be demonstrating during the 4^th Friday Art Walk along with live music on the front porch – 5 – 8 pm – refreshments provided.

August - Dog Days of Summer celebrate with a ‘Iced Tea Party’ every Sat. Stop in for cold glass of herbal tea. Feature Artists: Denton Middleton, Treenware and Jack Ferguson, flutes : both artists will be demonstrating their art form at the 4^th Friday, Aug. 22. 5-8 pm. Live music and refreshments.

September - we will be celebrating in Staunton’s QPPF with an exhibit by Barbara T. Phillips, Textile Images. Gallery 234 will be hosting a reception along with all the other galleries September 5, 5-7 pm. 4^th Friday Art Walk, September 26^th, artist will be demonstrating her art along with Music on the porch and refreshments.

Featured Artist Pat Hobbs – Pat is new to our gallery this year, but she had a strong portfolio and is doing great work with oils and Monotypes. Artist Reception Oct. 24, 5 – 8 pm

Dinner with the Artists! Date TBA – every one brings a dish to share – beverages and desserts will be provided. Please register at 887 2345 so we know how many to prepare for!

4^th Friday Art Walk, October 24^th 5 – 8 pm !

November - Holiday Studio Sale (upstairs) – I hope to clear my walls by offering older work at bargain prices – quality work but just has been around too long.

Avoid the crowds at the malls and box stores – post Thanksgiving 4^th Friday Art Walk, Nov. 28^th, 5 – 8 p.m.

December - Buy one of-a-kind gifts for the special people in your life! All our gallery items are original works of art – priced from $9 and up.

“Merry Christmas to you all” – our last day of business will be Saturday, Dec. 20^th and reopening in the spring. Happy 2009!
